Mudara - Institute of Directors

Mudara - Institute of Directors is a membership organisation serving board members, directors and governance professionals in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Headquartered at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) in the UAE, and an initiative of Hawkamah, Institute for Corporate Governance, Mudara IOD promotes director excellence by advocating the interests of boards and facilitating professional development through education, research, information, networking and dialogue.

The Director Development Programme course consists of 4 parts, 2-day Workshops with an online Mudara IOD tests at the end of each workshop and receive participation certificate. Attendees who pass all the four parts Mudara IOD examination will receive the ‘Professional Directorship Certificate’ from the institute.



From Board Directors, CEOs and entrepreneurs to faculty members and students, if you have a professional interest in corporate directorship and professional excellence, we welcome you to join Mudara IOD. Membership is open to officials from various organisations including private, government and family-owned entities.
